UK Council for Electronic Business Excellence Award Finalist!

Good News!

One Issue has been selected as one of the finalists for the UKCeB 2017 Excellence Awards presented at the Defence Information Show ’17 (26/27 April 2017)  hosted by Cranfield University.

The award is peer and industry recognition for innovation and good practices in electronic business and encompasses entries from major companies and conglomerates down to micro-businesses.

Defence Information 2017 is the major annual communications event of Joint Information Group activities (the JIG reports to the Defence Suppliers Forum) and the Event’s content spans both Information and Support.

The DI’17 Event examines some of the ‘people, process and technology’ issues critical to Team Defence being able to adopt, embed and exploit new (and often disruptive) Information and Communications Technology (ICT) capabilities and associated new ways of working – to productive effect.

It is keenly supported by the MOD who, along with Industry, recognise the value of learning from innovative joint endeavours involving companies of all sizes.

One Issue improves communication and visibility in the field using a simple app and comprehensive, secure back end to raise and resolve issues across departments, contractors and locations.

It helps the person raising provide an accurate and useful request with little or no understanding of the issue. It helps with triage by providing additional information including photographs to identify the problem efficiently and assign the correct resource to resolve. It helps with the resolution by providing historic as well as current information. It helps with communication by presenting the progress of the issue to all involved without the need for phone calls and emails.

The benefits include near real time communication, lowered anxiety, faster and accountable resolution and near real time reporting within a cost effective solution that securely scales.
